History: Kat grew up down the street from the charmed ones. She grew up playing with Wyatt and Chris when they were children. When she discovered she was a witch at the age of 5, she accidentally sent her mother flying through the window, she freaked. Until she talked to Chris about it and discovered just who he was.
Her father is a demon who like Cole fell in love with her mother. He pretty much has joined the good side and uses his powers very rarely now a days. Kat loves spending her days reading and working on poems or spending time with the Halliwells. She loves visiting with Phoebe and has even come to start calling her aunt Phoebe.
Kat also has a secret, she has been in love with Chris Halliwell for years. She has never let on to him her true feelings because she didn't think he ever saw her as anything but perhaps another sister. So she pines for him in silence, hoping maybe someday he will actually notice her.
She is an only child and envy's Wyatt and Chris and the other charmed children for having siblings. She has been visited by Prue a few times in her bedroom and wishes she had known the elder sister when she was still alive.

SAMPLE WRITING: Kat sat at her desk working on her homework and sighing. Looking out her window, she smiled softly as she watched Chris Halliwell walking down the street. She thought about opening the windown and calling out to him, but he seemed preoccupied so she just stared at him. "He is so hot." She thought to herself as she watched him. She wondered if he ever noticed her watching him and hoped he didn't.
Suddenly she had a feeling she wasn't alone and turned quickly in her chair, raising her hands to send whoever had invaded her private space flying. She smiled and lowered her hands when she saw Prue Halliwell sitting on her bed smiling at her. "I really hate it when you sneak up on me like that." She said with a smile as she reached down to stroke Smokey's head.
Prue smiled and rested back against her arms on the bed. "Sorry, was up there, and felt like you needed someone to talk to." Standing up, Prue walked over to the window and caught sight of Chris just as he turned the corner. "I take it you still haven't told him how you feel?" She turned to look at Kat.
Kat sighed and shook her head. "I know he is your nephew and everything, but I can't just walk up to the guy and say. "Hey I have been in love with you for years. Just thought you should know."
Prue sat down on the edge of the desk and smiled. "Why not?"
Kat looked at her like she had lost her mind. "Oh I don't know, maybe cause he would laugh his butt off."
Prue looked at her thoughtfully for a minute. "Well, I admit, I don't know Chris really well. But I'm sure he wouldn't laugh."
Kat just shook her head and closed her eyes. "Yea, well i"m sure he would."
